‘Nothing short’ of toppling the brutal Iranian regime will ensure the West’s security
Jewish News Syndicate Editor-in-Chief Jonathan Tobin says “nothing short” of forcing regime change in Iran will ensure the security of the West and the Middle East.
“I think we’re at the point where it’s clear that nothing short of toppling that regime is going to end the threat to the Straits and the freedom of shipping or its threat of international terrorism,” Mr Tobin told News24 Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“We’re engaged right now in an exercise in which President Trump wants to do everything short of that, but I’m not sure that in the end anything short of toppling this regime will achieve his ends.”
