Canada withdraws from ‘unfair’ trade negotiations with the US
Canada has suspended trade negotiations with the US due to last-minute changes. It means a 50 per cent tariff will be applied to goods from Canada coming into America. The Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, claimed the proposed terms from the US were both unfair and uneconomic.
