US slaps additional 50 per cent tariffs on some Canadian goods
The US will be imposing an additional 50 per cent tariff on certain Canadian goods, including alcoholic beverages, dairy and motor vehicles.
The White House has announced the new tariffs will come into effect next month.
The US claims it’s in response to Canada’s discriminatory treatment of American products.
