‘Sneakiest way possible’: Labor’s private meetings with a non-government organisation

Strategic analysis Australia Director Peter Jennings criticises Minister for Home Affairs of Australia Tony Burke for holding private meetings with a non-government organisation.

“Typically, what ministers and prime ministers want is they want officials in the room to keep an honest record of what’s going on,” Mr Jennings told Sky News host Peta Credlin.

“Can a minister actually have a private conversation with a non-government organisation?

“It really shouldn’t be allowed to happen.

“It’s chosen however, to do it in the sneakiest way possible.”
