Ray Hadley has testified at Alan Jones’ indecent assault trial, revealing details of a secret 2019 deal that would have seen him replace Jones on 2GB breakfast for $4 million annually, double his existing salary. The deal collapsed when Nine Entertainment’s Peter Costello wanted Jones to remain in the breakfast slot. Hadley described a tumultuous relationship with Jones, admitting to calling him derogatory names and confronting him in his office after allegedly being falsely accused of assault.
