Queensland gun loophole to be reviewed
The Queensland government will review a loophole that allows gun owners convicted of a serious offence to get their firearms back as part of broader gun law and hate speech reform in the state.
It has been reported there have been six cases where the Queensland civil and administrative tribunal has given people their guns back, despite them having serious criminal records.
The offences include making threats of a mass shooting and drug crimes.
