Putin calls Trump a leader who ‘listens’ but rejects his ‘paper tiger’ remark
Russian President Vladimir Putin has called US President Donald Trump a “comfortable conversationalist”, saying, “he’s basically the kind of person who listens, oddly enough … listens, hears and responds”.
Reacting to Trump’s recent social media post where he compared the Russian military to a “paper tiger” amid ongoing Ukraine war negotiations, Putin said: “Russian troops hold strategic initiatives everywhere.”
“If we are fighting with the entire NATO bloc, we are moving, advancing, and we feel confident, and we are a ‘paper tiger’, then what is NATO itself?”
