Police kill armed man during a confrontation in Queensland
Police have shot dead a man after he allegedly approached them with a firearm north of Brisbane overnight.
Police say they were first responding to a domestic violence incident that occurred between a man and a woman.
When officers arrived, they were confronted by a 48-year-old man who was armed with a gun and making threats toward them.
The man dies at the scene despite officers performing CPR on him.
