NSW launches interest-free loans for home energy upgrades | 7NEWS
The New South Wales Government has launched an interest-free loan scheme offering up to $15,000 over 10 years for households to install energy-saving upgrades including solar panels, insulation, reverse cycle air conditioning and household batteries. The programme targets households with combined incomes up to $210,000, with additional targeted discounts of up to $4,000 available for low-income households and concession card holders. More than 30,000 homes are expected to participate in the scheme, which will cost the state budget $500 million.
