A new study from the University of Cambridge suggests adolescence does not end until the age of 32, with the brain undergoing five major developmental stages throughout life at the ages nine, 32, 66 and 83.
Neuroscientists compared the brains of 3,802 people using MRI scans and found the brain doesn’t follow a single linear trajectory instead, it shifts through distinct phases.
