Liberal senator breaks rank on Coalition’s net-zero policy

Liberal Senator Andrew McLachlan has seemingly broken ranks with Opposition Leader Sussan Ley in order to side with Labor’s net-zero policy.

This comes despite Coalition power brokers’ past and present condemning the environmental policy.

Mr McLachlan argues that true conservatism involves prioritizing environmental protection.
