Iconic actress Patricia Routledge dies aged 96
Iconic actress Patricia Routledge, star of Keeping Up Appearances, has died at the age of 96.
Her career spanned more than 70 years and included both stage and television performances.
She appeared as the hilarious Hyacinth Bucket between 1992 and 1995.
The actress won a British Comedy Award for her performance, calling the character “an absolute monster” who she enjoyed playing “enormously”.
