How old recordings find new life | The Pacific | ABC NEWS
From ancient chants and songs to family stories, thousands of Pacific recordings are at risk of disappearing. But thanks to Paradisec, a small Australian archive consortium, they’re working to preserve thousands of recordings and return them to the communities they belong to.
In a special project, Paradisec worked alongside the PNG Peroveta Singers of Canberra to share with them decade old songs from home.
