Severe flooding and landslides cut off road access in parts of Indonesia’s Sumatra island, according to government authorities, with footage by @apiswanderer showing mangled cars and flood-affected homes in Padang City, West Sumatra. Local outlet Detik, citing emergency responders, reported four deaths in West Sumatra and a further 24 fatalities in North Sumatra.
