Democrat senator torched for unhinged comments just days before National Guard shooting
Democratic senator Elissa Slotkin has been blasted for comments she made earlier this week claiming the National Guard were about to start shooting at American civilians.
Conservative commentator Benny Johnson blasted Slotkin for pushing the “insane and dangerous lie.”
This comes as two National Guard troops have been shot in Washington DC near the White House.
The alleged shooter of the National Guardsmen has been identified as 29-year-old Rahmanullah Lakanwal who arrived in the US in 2021.
US President Donald Trump labelled the Afghani national who committed an “act of terror” by shooting two troops as an “animal.”
FBI officials confirmed the two West Virginia National Guardsmen remain in critical condition.
