Deadly attack on Detroit synagogue under investigation | 7NEWS
A driver armed with a rifle rammed a vehicle into the Temple of Israel synagogue outside Detroit, Michigan, while 140 children were inside attending school and daycare. Armed guards on scene opened fire on the suspect, who was later found dead inside the vehicle, which erupted into flames and sparked a large fire through the building. Federal investigators are treating this as a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community and are working to determine if it was an act of terror, with the bomb squad examining the vehicle for explosives.
