David Letterman goes after ‘dictator’ Donald Trump in fiery war of words
Late-night legend David Letterman went after the US President in a podcast after Trump blasted TV host Seth Meyers.
Donald Trump ripped into the host of NBC’s ‘Late Night With Seth Meyers’ on his social media platform Truth Social.
“NBC’s Seth Meyers is suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS). He was viewed last night in an uncontrollable rage, likely due to the fact that his ‘show’ is a Ratings DISASTER. Aside from everything else, Meyers has no talent, and NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!” Trump wrote.
During an episode of ‘The Barbara Gaines Show’, Letterman defended Meyers from Trump’s attacks and made fun of the president.
Trump’s call for Meyers’ firing comes after late-night host Jimmy Kimmel was temporarily suspended by ABC for comments about Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin.
