Countdown begins for Australia’s under 16s social media ban

The countdown has begun for Australia’s social media ban which will see all users under the age of 16 barred form a wide range of platforms. From December 10 companies which fail to block under-16 accounts could face penalties of up to 50 million dollars. Teenagers, parents and experts are divided with many saying the new law is far from perfect.
