Barnaby Joyce says ‘seriously consdering’ One Nation Senate seat

Barnaby Joyce says he is “seriously considering” a move to the Senate with One Nation after announcing his resignation from the Nationals in parliament, but stopped short of formally joining the far-right party led by Pauline Hanson. The former deputy prime minister also revealed he was directly asked twice to quit the Nationals by then-opposition leader Peter Dutton, which he says is a sign that his relationship with the party he’d been with for 30 years had broken down.
