Melbourne’s historic Victoria Barracks on St Kilda Road is among dozens of sites steeped in history and heritage that are about to be offloaded by the Australian Defence Force. In all, 16 sites across Victoria will be sold, including the birthplace of the RAAF at Point Cook, as the force tries to claw back billions of dollars.
