A 60 year old man was arrested following a shooting in Croydon Park
More than 100 gunshots have rung out in Sydney’s inner west overnight, leaving at least 16 people injured.
The incident unfolded in Croydon Park around 7:45 pm last night where police claim a man armed with a high-calibre rifle fired indiscriminately from an apartment window on Georges River Road.
He was arrested at the scene, and a number of firearms were located and seized.
A number of cars, including a police vehicle and a taxi, were also shot and damaged during the rampage.
