Sky News Pulse: Federal budget sparks sharp generational divide in new poll
Sky News Chief Election Analyst Tom Connell has reviewed recent Sky News Pulse polling, which reveals differing perspectives among younger and older Australians on the federal budget.
According to the polling, 20 per cent of Australians aged over 65 said they feel ‘much worse off’ as a result of the budget’s impact on households, compared with 4 per cent of Australians aged 18 to 24.
The latest results also indicate the government’s primary vote has fallen below 30 per cent.
