Thousands of UK protesters march through London in opposition to digital IDs
Protests have been held in London over the introduction of digital identification by the Starmer government.
The ID will be needed in order to live and work in the UK and has received widespread backlash.
Political parties have said they do not support the idea, with the Conservative Party labelling the ID as a “gimmick”.
