‘Stop the spending spree’: Ted O’Brien slams Labor’s reckless budget

Shadow Treasurer Ted O’Brien has spoken on the Labor government’s record federal spending.

“They need to stop the spending spree, and two, they need to start growing the economic pie,” Mr O’Brien told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“When things get tight … you ask yourself the question, is this the right spend? Can it be done more efficiently?

“This is the thing that this government is not doing.”
